"Stephen Hedley is one of those singer-songwriters whose music defies
easy comparisons. Brought up in Windsor, Ontario, Hedley grew up only
minutes from the Ambassador Bridge, a short jaunt over to Detroit,
Michigan. With a clear signal from Detroit’s massive radio market,
Stephen enjoyed a diverse diet of Otis Redding, Jeff Buckley, Stevie
Wonder, Nick Drake, Marvin Gaye, The Stooges, U2, Neil Young, Philip
Glass and everything in between. Son to a British Anthropologist and an
American classically trained pianist, with sabbatical years spent in
New Zealand and Newfoundland as a child, it’s no wonder that Stephen’s
outlook and his songwriting have always been unique and genre-bending.
His debut CD ‘Scenes’ reflects many of these influences, from the
soulful falsetto and bluesy groove of ‘Yellow Dog’ to the achingly
beautiful ‘Why Can’t You Be Satisfied’, to the sing-along rock choruses
and disco undertones of ‘Scenes’. Stephen’s intuitive sense of melody,
and his ability to bring together such diverse influences in the
context of a pop song makes ‘Scenes’ an album that is both immediately
gratifying and one that can be returned to time and time again."

Kaylee Johnson - This Girl can Rock Hard

"Kaylee Johnston is a passionate nineteen-year-old
singer/songwriter. She wrote her first song at the age of nine, and
since then has grown and developed numerous alternative pop songs. She
began singing at age six and started playing guitar when she was
fifteen. Influenced by singers like Avril Lavigne and Sarah McLaughlan,
she began to learn their songs and styles. After only a few months of
playing, she was composing on the guitar. One year ago she did a
three-song demo with Bill Buckingham and is now looking forward to
recording a hit album!
The passion Kaylee has for her music is rare. She is determined to gain
success in the industry regardless of how many set backs take place.
Her ultimate goal is to be a professional recording artist/songwriter
and will take the necessary steps to attain it. She is willing and able
to venture other avenues to further her knowledge of the music
industry."

of N.S.W Australia, Colin Bullock is a singer / songwriter making his
mark the old fashioned way playing show after show, up and down the
East Coast of Australia. Now living in the westcoast of Canada.

Having played shows alongside acts like: Alex Llyod, Motor
Ace, Darryle Braithwaite, Dan Kelly & The Alpha Males, Grace
Knight, The Butterfly Effect, Troy Cassar-Daley and many more. Colin's
sound has been described as Aussie Roots music with pop sensabilites,
listing his influences such as James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Donovan and Jim
Croce, but finding his own voice in amongst all of this.
Colin's live shows are captivating with listeners hanging on
every word, Colin's unique voice and acoustic Guitair playing are what
draws people in but then they listen to his great lyrical ability and

Jordan West - Acoustic Indy Singer Songwriter

"Jordan T West was born is the serene town of Kelowna BC, about 4 hours
from Vancouver, and has had music in his veins from a young age. He is
an artist whose lyrics surround the rubbish of relationships, the truth
we so often manipulate , speaking of things you may have tried to
forget. Being played anywhere from coffee shops to international and
internet radio stations his vocals and songwriting are often compared
with the likes of Damien Rice and Dave Mathews mixed David Grey.
Blatant sounds and beautiful melodies combined into an eclectic
acoustic sound that will make you remember, even if you'd rather not.
With an honest appreciation for the tragic yet beautiful realities of
life, this artist will most definitely make you think, question and
occasionally cry, while he continues to smile. His music is Skimming
the folk scene from Vancouver to Winnipeg on two separate tours with
some pretty twangs and an overly anxious appreciation for artistic
truth. With clever timing and some ridiculously impressive vibrato,
West may force you to tell your friends, families and foes alike. He is
surprisingly rare with a true passion for sound, a love for love, and a
lack of the pretension of this time which some of us attempt to avoid.
His life appears elegantly through his lyrics, in all of the confusion,
beauty, distress and contemplation which comes along with it. At
performances he is often paired with piercing violin lines by Nicki
Wiebe as well as haunting vocals from Lindy Enns. His music is there.
Love, hate, admire or avoid, he will continue to sing. Jordan's hopeful
yet analytical view of love, his heart that skims the threatening loss
in life, and his fatalistic demeanor may attract or frighten you, or
quite possibly force your tired heart to begin to beat once again."
