In the spirit of the great folk musicians of our day, Elgin Vine draws on his own life experiences, largely writing only to the sound of his lone guitar. A true west coaster at heart, his music reflects the cultural diversity which is the port city of Vancouver. Importing only the freshest elements of Blues, Rock, Reggae, Latin, Folk and Hip-Hop, Elgin’s upbeat acoustic sound is the perfect complement to a day spent relaxing on the beach. “Warm smiles and friendly faces, good wine, good food, good people, good places”, a lyric lifted from Elgin’s party-friendly track “Dirty City”, aptly describes Elgin’s approach to music and life.
Elgin will be backed by local artists and long time collaborators, 'Wailin' Galen Evans (Harmonica & Vocals), Greg Monforton (Bass), and Ian House (Vocals). To round out the evening expect to hear several original songs from the backup band as well.
Mackenzie Brown is a wonderful and charismatic new artist that will keep you wrapped comfortably in her blanket of original melodies. Born with the perfect smoky-sultry tone for singing the blues, Mackenzie is sure to add many in attendance to her growing fan base.
