CJ is an active member of Vancouver 's local music scene and has a
rapidly growing fanbase. The new collection in
progress contains guitar-driven pieces and fresh songs which reflect
the youthful side of CJ. In the meantime, this confident songwriter is
also focusing on increasing her exposure by playing various gigs around

ARCTIC After a childhood spent on the land in the isolated Northwest
Territories of Canada, the guitarist travelled to the metropolis of
Toronto and became involved in projects ranging from jazz to metal to
rap. After dealing with the roller-coaster frustrations of band
politics, he went solo, and headed west to Vancouver to write his own
music. He began performing using a looping device that would allow him
to record, modify, loop and layer his acoustic guitar performance into
a haunting moodiness evocative of a cold Northern landscape. With a
rich, unique sound of his own that was already gaining an audience, he
had no need for backing musicians.

Kaylee Johnston is a passionate eighteen-year-old
singer/songwriter. She wrote her first song at the age of nine, and
since then has grown and developed numerous alternative pop songs. She
began singing at age six and started playing her guitar when she was
fifteen. Influenced by singers like Avril Lavigne and Sarah McLauchlan,
she began to learn their songs and styles. After only a few months of
playing, she was composing on the guitar. One year ago she did a
three-song demo with Bill Buckingham and is now looking forward to
recording her first full length album!
